SWEET, MOM!!!!

My son Andreas, 11 yo, bursted out a couple of days ago: " Sweet Mom!! you bought earplugs!!!!" already picking my "earplugs" up on its way to his ears.

Me going: "NO, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!!!!!
These are NOT earplugs, so don`t put them in your ears ! These are for my knitting so the stitches don´t fall off the needles when I am not knitting and my knitting happens to by in my bag-!!!
Son: Haaaah !!! Sweet anyway-

Yes , kids learn about strange tools when they have a knitter as a mom. Tools ( not toys!!) other mom´s don´t have and other kids don´t know of.
So kids with crafty moms are smarter...?!? ....... i don´t know but they sure do know that something that looks like earplugs could be something completely else.

Oh, by the way- I purchased the pattern on Belvedere socks by Kirsten Kapur, Through the Loops! It will be my little mothersday gift for my self.
