In Yarn Heaven

........... for 1½ hr.
I was visiting Felisis blog earlier this morning and she made it clear to all of us that she only will have one UFO - the one she is knitting on.
I on the other hand have had 7 or 8 UFO´s in the early years-
Now I decided to let my self have 3 or 4 objects in progress.
That works for me because then I have different things to work on ,during different times.
I also decided that to day was the day to take a closer look at my yarn boxes-
6 very big bedrollers and 4 smaller boxes and 3 bags filled.
Alot of dust so I had to clean the top and while emtying it I might as well clean it inside as well.
I had yarn everywhere. I keep them in a lace weight box, chunky and so on-- it was very mixed.
I also decided to throw away useless small balls ( I know.. it was hard)- and single chunky stuff only 25 gr or so..
I will never use it to anything. OUT !

This is a baby dress I started waaaaay back in -07. I am preeeetty sure I will not finish this..
I will toss it. Bye, bye
This was ment to be a top / T-shirt kind of thing.
Pretty unusual, because it was made in a spiral- so all I had to do was knit 4rows of knit and 4 rows of purling.
Amazingly boring if you ask me and doomed to be a UFO( - 05)
The yarn is Isager wool. on needle 3mm.
The yarn is coloured by myself in the colour flip I had in -05
I decided to close it and let it be a scarf.
It meacures 140 cm- streched 170cm.
Enough for a scarf.
These are the sad left overs to throw out.
Yes! Throw away and out.
Bits and peaces of different weights. small balls
and:
1kg and 200 gr of Kathmandu.
That I don´t know what to do with.
The colours are great. A tweed effect yarn, it is actually a mix of wool, silk and cashmere!!!
The thing is this is probably the worst yarn EVER that I bought( on sale) .
It is absolutly horrifying to knit with. The work turns out flat and lifeless/boring.
It is not good to knit with eather.. It get stuck in the stiches if you know what I mean.
Absolutly useless.
600gr of this deep purple red.
400 of deep green
200 of tile green.
It should be forbidden to make yarn like this. To look so Jummy and delicious.
I think it is the silk in it that makes it that awful.
Have not decided what to do with it yet. Give it away maybe.
And why is it that I can´t throw away this little ball of sock yarn?
I have 100 gr left - wouldn´t it be horrifying if I made a pair of socks and I ended up not finishing them because I ran out of yarn?
That´s why.

You brave woman! I'd be afraid to pour out everything onto my bed. I'd have a hard time letting go of UFOs, and a hard time letting go of bits or sets of yarn.
