Fish Scale hats

This hat inspired me to knit two of my own.

A white and blue one. Did not take long from idea to finished products.

I used the fish scale panel pattern from the book lace and eyelets by interweavepress.

Blue yarn is Patons Classic wool bought at Michael's art's & craft's.

I used needles # 4.5 mm & 5mm on both yarns. The white aran yarn is slightly thicker than Patons.

I must try this pattern on a pair of mittens too- think it will be just fine.
