a tradition in scandinavia is to light 1 candle for every sunday before Christmas. The coming sunday I will light 3 candles.
I usually make or buy a wreat of a kind and decorate it differently each year.
I let my mood rule every time and this year I simply wanted something completly different and wanted something clean and simple( must admit I was feeling low and a bit sick too- so I let my shopping impulse flow- that sounded crazy because the only thing I bought was the glasses w/ numbers & candles :)
The zink tray I already had. The glass plate too. My stash of cones came in handy- so did my stone collection.
And voila!!
