Pure Pleasure

Christmas holiday is here- with snow.

If everything turns out the way we want it to- we shall have a white Christmas.

That is a what many Danes hopes for( including me)

It gives a little trouble though and driving around is not that safe if you ask me-

The first snow of the year ALWAYS brings panic to most people. Driving is slow. Difficult to walk.

But working at a school gives you a other perspective: Kids loves it and wants to spend every lession outside. Woke up Thursday morning with the familiar feeling of all sounds being wrapped in cotten.

I´m like the kids. Filled with joy I got out of bed. Woke up the kids ( usually a wake -up call like this gets them out of bed in no time- but not this year :- (- teens!!!!

and planned a early take off to school.

Yesterday was our last day at school. The day started in church with a service- with christmas hymns and psalms. Second was a short break before meeting with the rest of the shool for a short wrap up of the day. Short day for the kids- abit longer for us teachers that met for a festive lunch at 1pm. This year it was a African lunch- with belonging dance and drumming.

That was fun and a great way of saying merry christmas to colleages....

By today , saturday, the snow keeps coming. Spendt the day showeling snow, swinging my broom inside and outside the house ( it was indeed needed).

Christmas knitting is done- only for pure pleasure from now on. Enjoy yourselves with or without snow.
