Still doing the sock

I could not resist getting these little magnet words..

As you can see I will be working on the wollmeise sock. Did the cuff last night and the heel/gusset is on its way.

I want so badly to grab some other yarn and start a new project, but I will be very steadfast and stick to the sock. In a week or so we are going for a trip to Chicago (and maybe Frankenmuth, MI) and there got to be some good yarn stores.. Do anyone recomend a store that they know is great? I sure would be happy to know. On my ride in blogland today I saw many new purchases and good deals.. I want some too--
